OVERVIEW

This is a Laser Distance Sensor, whose technology is called "LIDAR".

Model number is usually LDS04RR and its color this time, in this series is always in black, also for the white model.

This LDS module is smaller than the LDS module of the older models, and is installed in the following models:

A malfunction that requires LDS replacement is usually Error 1.

* Please note: The models marked in red can be equipped with one of two types of LDS, large or small. This varies depending on where you purchased your robot.

A model that worked with one type of LDS (large, for example) will be able to work with a small LDS, but this requires some kind of adapter - and it is better to avoid this and verify the type of LDS before purchasing.

We also sell the larger LDS in our store. The larger LDS is installed on many other earlier models.

Note: Such procedures (replacing internal parts) are supposed to be performed by licensed technicians, laboratories, or at least individuals with a background in the field.
