Issue meaning

What this issue means

The robot loses traction or slides on the glass. ECOVACS identifies dirty or oily drive treads, an unremoved bumper protector, an over-wet wiping pad and damp glass as common contributors.

Start here

First checks

Clean the driving treads and remove dirt or oil. Confirm any bumper protector strip has been removed. Check whether the wiping pad is oversaturated and replace it if needed. Dry a section of damp glass before reattaching WINBOT and avoid use in very humid or rainy conditions.

Inspection

Area to inspect

Drive treads, bumper protector, wiping pad moisture and glass surface.
