Goods Scene Troubleshooting

Ecovacs WINBOT does not spray water

No water spray is not always a fault. ECOVACS documents several normal no-spray states, including edge cleaning, small windows under 40 cm wide, return-to-start movement, remote control except manual spray, and when Auto-spraying is disabled.

Start here

First checks

First rule out a normal no-spray state. Then check the water level, refill if needed, wipe the spray nozzles with a clean damp cloth, confirm Auto-spraying is enabled in the ECOVACS HOME App, and use the front/rear nozzle test if available. ECOVACS advises using its cleaning solution or tap water rather than purified/distilled water.

Inspection

Area to inspect

Operating mode, water tank level, spray nozzles and Auto-spraying setting.

What to do next

Do not diagnose a pump or water-line fault until the documented normal no-spray conditions, tank level, nozzle blockage and app setting have been ruled out.

Practical guidance is kept separate from manufacturer wording.
