EU Customs Update for Low-Value Imports
Our customers in Europe, please note
From 1 July 2026, the European Union will introduce a temporary €3 customs duty on low-value imported items valued up to €150. This measure replaces the previous duty-free exemption for low-value imports and is expected to apply until 1 July 2028.
The new duty applies per item, not necessarily per parcel, and may affect certain orders shipped from outside the European Union. The purpose of this change is to create a fairer import system, improve product traceability, and support compliance with EU customs and safety requirements.
At Goods Scene, we are working with our logistics partners and suppliers to adapt to these changes and keep the purchasing process as clear and transparent as possible for our customers.
Please note that import duties, VAT, customs fees, and local handling charges may vary by country and may be collected by the carrier, customs authority, or relevant service provider according to local regulations.
We recommend that EU customers review any applicable import costs before placing an order. If you have questions about shipping or customs charges, feel free to contact us before completing your purchase.
