Personvernerklæring
Last updated: September 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Goods Scene collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you visit goodsscene.net, make a purchase, contact us, or otherwise interact with our store.
It applies to our website, checkout, customer accounts, customer support channels and marketing communications. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that we do not control.
Who We Are
Goods Scene is an online store for vacuum cleaner spare parts and accessories. It is operated by Goods Scene Ecommerce from Haifa, Israel. We sell to customers internationally.
In this policy, "Goods Scene", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Goods Scene Ecommerce. "You" refers to anyone who visits our store or interacts with us.
Our store runs on Shopify, an ecommerce platform that hosts our website and processes store data on our behalf. Our contact details are at the end of this policy.
Personal Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you use our store.
Information you provide
- Order and contact details: your name, email address, phone number, and billing and shipping addresses.
- Customer account details: the email address you use to sign in. Customer accounts use email-based, one-time verification, so we do not ask you to create a username, password or security question.
- Payment information: payment details you enter at checkout. These are submitted to and processed by third-party payment providers (see Payments).
- Customer support communications: messages you exchange with us by live chat, email, contact forms, SMS or messaging services. This includes anything you choose to attach, such as photos of a part, a model label or packaging.
- Reviews and feedback: product reviews, ratings, and any photos or comments you submit with them.
- Email marketing preferences: whether you have subscribed to or unsubscribed from our marketing emails.
- Other information you choose to give us, for example when you ask us to help find a part.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our store, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information using cookies, pixels and similar technologies, including:
- device and browser information, such as browser type, operating system, screen size and language settings;
- IP address and approximate location derived from it, for example to show prices in your local currency;
- pages and products you view, searches, the website that referred you, and how you interact with the store;
- cart, checkout and purchase events;
- wishlist activity, such as products you save.
See Cookies and Similar Technologies for more detail.
Information from third parties
We may receive personal information about you from:
- Shopify, which provides our store platform, checkout and customer accounts;
- payment providers, for example payment status, refunds and related transaction information;
- shipping carriers and tracking services, for example delivery status updates;
- online marketplaces, if you buy one of our products through a third-party marketplace connected to our store;
- advertising and analytics partners, for example information about how you reached our store from an ad;
- review platforms, for example when you submit a review through a review request.
How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to:
- process and deliver your orders, including payment, fulfillment, shipping, tracking, returns, refunds and warranty questions;
- manage your customer account and give you access to your order history;
- provide customer support, including helping you identify the correct part for your appliance;
- communicate with you about your orders, deliveries, account and requests. This is usually by email and, where reasonably necessary, by SMS or messaging services, for example if there is a delivery problem, a parcel is waiting for collection, or we cannot reach you by email;
- send marketing emails where you have agreed to receive them, or where otherwise permitted by law;
- show and measure advertising, including on social media and search platforms;
- understand and improve our store, including our product range, search, navigation and site performance;
- personalize your experience, such as displaying local currency and pricing and remembering your wishlist;
- collect and publish product reviews;
- detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents;
- comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Legal bases (where applicable)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction where a legal basis for processing is required, we rely on one or more of the following, depending on the activity:
- Contract: to process orders and provide services you request.
- Legitimate interests: to operate, secure and improve our store and prevent fraud. We balance these interests against your rights. We may also use this basis for certain direct marketing where applicable law permits it.
- Consent: where the law requires it, for example for certain cookies, advertising technologies and marketing emails. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws, such as tax and accounting rules.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Pixels, tags and scripts are similar technologies that collect information about your interactions with the store. We use them for several purposes.
- Essential technologies: needed for the store to work. They keep items in your cart, run checkout, keep you signed in, and protect the store against fraud.
- Analytics: help us understand how visitors use the store and where it can be improved.
- Personalization and preferences: remember choices such as currency, language and saved wishlist items.
- Advertising and marketing: help us and our advertising partners show relevant ads, measure how well they work, and reach people who have visited our store.
Third-party technologies
Some of these technologies are provided by third parties, including advertising, analytics, review, order-tracking and wishlist providers. These third parties may collect information directly from your browser, subject to their own privacy policies.
Your cookie choices
- Store privacy controls: in some regions, a cookie banner lets you accept or decline certain categories of cookies and similar technologies. The banner, and the options it shows, depend on your location.
- How consent applies: depending on the technology, your location and the settings applied by Shopify or the relevant provider, some technologies may operate without a separate consent request, while others are used only after the relevant permission is granted. Declining optional categories may therefore limit data collection without preventing it entirely.
- Browser controls: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the store, such as the cart or checkout, from working.
- Advertising platform settings: you can adjust ad preferences directly in your accounts with advertising platforms such as Meta and Google.
Advertising and Data Sharing
We advertise our products online, including on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and Google services. To do this, we use advertising technologies that share information with these platforms, such as:
- pages viewed, products added to cart and purchases;
- device and browser identifiers, and IP address;
- where the relevant integration supports it, contact details associated with an order.
Some information is sent directly from your browser. Some, such as Meta's server-side integration, is sent from our store platform to the advertising platform. The platforms use this information to show you ads, measure ad performance and build audiences, and they may combine it with information they already hold about you.
Shopify, our ecommerce platform, may also use store customer data together with data from other Shopify stores to improve its services, and for advertising and personalization purposes, as described in Shopify's own terms and privacy policy.
"Sale", "sharing" and targeted advertising
We do not rent or sell customer lists for money.
However, for purposes of certain U.S. state privacy laws and similar laws elsewhere, some disclosures of personal information to advertising and marketing partners may be considered a "sale", "sharing", or processing for targeted advertising, even though no money is exchanged for the information.
If applicable law gives you the right to opt out of certain uses or disclosures of personal information for targeted advertising, sale or sharing, you may contact us using the details at the end of this policy. See also Your Privacy Rights and Choices.

- Wishlist providers: to save and manage wishlist items.

We may also share information with your consent or at your direction.
Payments
Payment information you enter at checkout is submitted to and processed by third-party payment providers, including providers such as PayPlus and PayPal where available. Each provider handles your payment information under its own terms and privacy policy.
We receive the transaction and order information we need to manage your order, payment status, refunds and customer support.
Reviews, Wishlists, Support and User Content
Product reviews
After a purchase, we may invite you to review the products you bought. Our review provider processes your name, email address and order-related information to send review requests and verify purchases.
If you submit a review, the review and your display name may be publicly visible on our store. Photos you add may also be published. Please do not include personal information in a review that you do not want to be public.
Google Customer Reviews
After you complete an order, you may be shown an invitation to take part in Google Customer Reviews, a survey program operated by Google. To enable this invitation, we provide Google with your email address, order number, delivery country and estimated delivery date.
Participation is optional. You will only receive a survey if you choose to opt in. Google's handling of this information is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
Wishlists
If you use our wishlist feature, our wishlist provider stores the products you save and related activity, so you can view them later and, where available, receive reminders.
Customer support messages, photos and files
When you contact us, we keep your messages and any photos or files you choose to send us, for example photos of a part, a label, or a device model number. We use them to answer your inquiry, identify the correct part, and keep a record of our communication.
Support messages and attachments are not published. They are available to us and to the service providers who operate our support tools.
Please send only information needed for your request, and avoid including unrelated personal information in photos, such as other people or documents.
International Data Transfers
Goods Scene operates from Israel and sells to customers in many countries.
Our ecommerce platform and some of our service providers may store or process personal information in countries outside your country of residence. Shopify currently identifies the United States as the hosting location for our store data.
Your personal information may therefore be processed in Israel, in the United States, and in other countries where our service providers or their subcontractors operate. Data protection laws in these countries may differ from those in your country.
Where required by applicable law, we take steps intended to ensure that personal information transferred internationally receives appropriate protection.
Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes it was collected for. When deciding how long to keep information, we consider:
- how long we need it to fulfill orders and provide support;
- contractual needs, such as returns, refunds and warranty questions;
- legal, tax and accounting obligations;
- the need to resolve disputes and enforce our rights;
- fraud prevention and security;
- our other legitimate business needs.
When personal information is no longer reasonably required, we take reasonable steps to delete, anonymize, or restrict access to it where appropriate. This is subject to legal obligations and to the capabilities and retention practices of the services we use.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. These include relying on established service providers and limiting access to the people and systems that need it.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please help protect your information, for example by keeping access to your email account secure, because it is used to sign in to your customer account.
Children's Privacy
Our store is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: ask whether we process your personal information and request a copy of it.
- Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Portability: receive certain information in a structured, commonly used format, or have it sent to another organization.
- Restriction and objection: ask us to limit certain processing, or object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including direct marketing.
- Withdrawal of consent: where we rely on consent, withdraw it at any time. This does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal.
- Opt out of targeted advertising, "sale" or "sharing": where applicable law gives you this right, ask us to stop disclosures of your personal information that are treated as a "sale", "sharing" or targeted advertising.
- Non-discrimination: where applicable, you will not be treated differently for exercising your rights.
How to exercise your rights
To make any of these requests, including an opt-out request, contact us at support@goodsscene.net or using the other details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding, for example by confirming details associated with your order or email address. Where permitted by law, an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf.
If we decline your request, we will explain why where required. Depending on your location, you may have the right to appeal our decision.
Marketing communications
You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time using the link in the email, or by contacting us. We will still send messages related to your orders, deliveries and support requests, such as order confirmations and shipping updates.
Complaints
If you have concerns about how we handle your personal information, please contact us first. You may also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority in your country of residence, place of work, or where the issue occurred. In Israel, this is the Privacy Protection Authority.

Our store may contain links to third-party websites, and it includes features provided by third parties, such as social media, payment, messaging and review services. Those third parties' own privacy policies govern their practices, and we are not responsible for them. We encourage you to review their policies.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services or legal requirements. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Where required by law, we will notify you of material changes in another way.
